Overview Industrial Design 2D & 3D CAD Visualisation Graphics Project Management Prototyping

Through the use of our powerful 2D and 3D modelling software, concepts and ideas can be laid out and developed as elevational plans or detailed to generate virtual three dimensional objects and products.

Our 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) capabilities allows us to generate, export and import 2D vector data in the form of DWG, DXF, IGES, EPS formats (amongst others). Whether used for basic evaluational layout and geometry analysis or preparation of digital layout and cutting paths for printing, laser or router cutting processes, our 2D drafting services can be tailored to suit specific needs.

Our 3D modelling capability offers a range of benefits when developing new products. Form, fit and function and market testing can be reviewed before committing to prototyping, tooling and subsequent manufacture.

The 3D electronic information may also assist in the development of tool-path data where Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machining can reproduce complex freeform tool surfaces and features. Data may also be used for computer simulated static and dynamic engineering calculations and mould flow analysis.

Our 3D models have the capability of being exported to 3D animation packages for promotional or virtual product presentations or integration into film and video.

MPV Design uses Windows and Apple based drafting and modelling software. We offer both Parametric Solids modelling and Free-Form NURBS modelling services.

Whether part of a design project or as a specific modelling task, MPV Design is happy to assist with your specific 2D and 3D requirements.
